Hello! My name is Grigory Stukalov, I am an architect of UNESCO sites, an urbanist, a teacher, the author of three books on urban planning including the book "Urban planning: city atlas", which was written on the basis of the project of a large city developed alone by me.
Undoubtedly, the main object of "Urban planning: city atlas" is the visual part, which takes up about 65% of its volume. From the aesthetic point of view, the city maps are wholesome and self-sufficient graphic works on urban planning, which open up a new kind of free town planning creativity.
At the moment, there are no competing books on such subjects in the world. An increasing number of people are interested in urban planning: city-building games for modeling cities are developing

more and more (such as "Cities: Skylines", "Cities XL" - so, YouTube is littered with them; by the way, there is a CD in my book - a disk with a virtual model), a lot of fans of urban public transport, a large number of people are interested in urban planning, landscaping and urbanism in general. At the same time, in my opinion, the literature in this subject is presented extremely one–sided in the book market - there are no books in the format of a "full-fledged city project", with countless maps, transport schemes, their own fictional world.
I often ask myself the following question: why does fiction exist as a model of fictional life, but there is not a single book modeling the life of a huge city? I believe that this book will be the first in this genre!
The project of the metropolitan city Seymen, presented in the book, clearly demonstrates the process of urban planning from scratch to a finished megapolis project. The city project embodies a combination of experience in European urbanism, scientific and practical methods of the modernist urban planning school, as well as personal experience and creativity. Therefore, when looking at the map of the city you can see areas built on the pattern of the great global cities – London, Paris, and Berlin. Moreover, planning integration of such areas into one city is very delicate.
The book contains detailed maps, diagrams, descriptions of this city, as well as the types of modern urban practices that I studied. The book has been translated into English professionally.

The book is based on an atlas (high quality) of the world’s single largest author’s city. Also the book contains maps, drawings, transport diagrams and panoramas, a 3D model of the city on a CD, and other graphic materials, a folding map of the city, attached to the book.
My authorship was registered in 2022 with the book «Urban Planning: City Atlas» as a "Text and artwork"
