After releasing the first book "Urban Design of a Metropolis" in 2015 , we are pleased to present a new book to you - "URBAN PLANNING: CITY ATLAS"

Created by a UNESCO World Heritage architect. This book is an atlas of an urban planner: maps, transport, history, evolution, outlook. URBAN PLANNING: CITY ATLAS will be an indispensable atlas of urbanism and urban planning for both planners and architects. It's supposed to be their assistant, mentor and a friend for years. On the other hand, the book is based on an atlas of the world’s single largest author’s city: maps, drawings, transport diagrams and panoramas, a 3D model of the city on a CD, and other graphic materials. Therefore, you will learn not only how to design correctly, but also get acquainted with the history of the evolution of urban structures, as well as the processes we can expect in the urbanism of the future.

The main part of the book consists of the designed city atlas, which includes five

parts: a general map of the city with a public transport route diagram showing the integral functional-planning structure and the trafficking framework, a city map and an enlarged map of the central part displaying all the small details of the project.

The atlas also presents two hypothetical city history maps from 1800 and 1870, showing the process of major changes in the city structure and the turning points of scientific and technological progress that influenced this process.
